Hi, I go by the name of Leon Calvin Mack but most people just call me Calvin. I am a host, writer, and editor & a few years ago I created an Interview series profiling black queer individuals and their stories.
This was #BlackGaySlay the Webseries.
This passion project inspired me to utilize my skills as a former entertainment journalist and really broaden the vision for BlackGaySlay into a fully realized platform that highlights even more incredible people and their stories.

Leon Calvin Mack is a writer, host, and content creator who has done on camera press coverage for several networks including FOX, TVOne, BET and more. He has written and produced for both local broadcasts and sketch comedy programming.
As a host/blogger Mack has worked for and appeared on Afterbuzz TV, OMGossip with Jermey Hassell, and Latavia Roberson's hit radio show 'The Naked Truth.' Mack has also written for multiple black owned publications; interviewing noteworthy names like Wyclef Jean, Ryan Destiny, Stevie J, Mack Wilds, Big Freedia, Rasheeda Ali, etc.
