Yes, according to People Magazine, the 'Someone Like You' singer and her husband of three years, Simon Konecki have officially separated. The Grammy award winning vocalist tied the knot with Konecki, Life Water co founder and entrepreneur, in a romantic secret ceremony back in 2016.
As you may remember, the two met back in 2011, while the 'Hello' hitmaker was recovering from minor throat surgery and went public in January of 2012. The following year, Adele and Simon welcomed a baby boy named Angelo. Despite keeping a low profile on their relationship, they confirmed their martial status during the singer's 2017 Grammys acceptance speech where she adoringly said:
“Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son — you’re the only reason I do it.”
The shocking news of the split comes just weeks after Adele was spotted leaving a recording studio in New York City, igniting speculation of an upcoming album.
According to Buzzfeed both Simon and Adele have asked for privacy moving forward saying that “there will be no further comment” and affirming their commitment to “raising their son together lovingly.”
