Britney's Army of fans no longer need to worry, the Princess of pop has surfaced and she is safe and sound....so it seems.
That's right, about a month ago TMZ reported that Spears checked herself into a mental health facility which aptly halted her hugely popular Las Vegas residency show, "Domination."
Spears checked herself into the mental health facility after her father hospitalized for a ruptured colon, surely causing a lot of stress on Britney and the Spears family. After spending quite some time secluded from the spotlight, fans began to speculate whether or not Britney was actually still checked into the facility of her own volition or possibly being held against her will.
There were write ups, conspiracy videos, and even fan-made petitions to #FreeBritney.
However, shortly after rumors began to swell the 'Overprotected' performer was photo'd out her beau Sam Asghari.
Brit then made a video addressing all of her fans who were worried about her well-being and to set the record straight. In an instagram video Spears tells everyone that, other than her family dealing with "a lot of stress and anxiety," ---"all is well" and that she just "needed time to deal" and would return to social media very soon.
Britney also urged fans to stop sending death threats to her team/family, whom many thought were keeping her against her will.
In a lenghthy IG caption Spears writes:
things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. [...] My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment 🌸🌸🌸 [...] Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way.
