Aunt Wendy has finally broken her silence and is here to set the record straight: she is a single women and she is LOVING IT!
That's right, after months of speculation, cheating rumors and a short stint at a sober living community, news broke that Wendy Williams filed for divorce from her estranged husband Kevin Hunter Sr. The story spread like wildfire and Williams has kept mindfully mum about the details of her marriage drama since.
She first addressed it last month (Apr. 15th) during a segment of Hot Topics, where she emphasized that she would be starting a new chapter of her life stating "It'll be Wendy on her own." However, Williams hesitated to go into any further details saying:
“Everybody has things in their life that they’re embarrassed to share with the world, or they’re frightened to share with the world, or they’re not ready to share with the world"
Well now, it is a new day because Wendy seems ready to talk and we are ALLLL ears.
On a recent episode, Wendy took to her infamous purple chair to dispel rumors that she was dating a new mystery man she was seen with over the weekend in NYC. Williams assured watchers that the man she was seen with was actually her security guard but made it very clear that she is in fact dating.
Williams says:
"I am working on my divorce pleasantly right now [...] I am a single woman running around New York [...] as a mature single, almost single, woman I go out a lot because I am a good time girl I like to have fun. "
"I have the ultimate bachelorette pad, high top everything. I have a really really good view and I am reclaiming my life and I don't have a boyfriend but I must admit I am rediscovering my love for men and you know...transparency, I do date."
